This refresher is designed for the wildland fire medical provider. This RT-130 intends to focus line-going medical personnel on operations and decision-making issues related to fireline medical needs. Bringing awareness to be able to recognize and mitigate risk, maintain safe and effective practices, and reduce accidents and near misses. This class covers all of the core components required by NWCG for an RT-130.
This field day equips new wildland firefighters with essential skills through a mix of online learning and hands-on training. The course features a required online component and an instructor-led exercise, reinforcing online concepts with practical performance-based training.

This course is designed to provide the skills and knowledge needed to perform in the role of Medical Unit Leader (MEDL). Topics include gathering information, organizing the medical unit, supervising the unit, evaluation, documentation, and demobilization.
Fireline Medical Provider (S-259). The fireline medical providers' introduction to becoming a wildland fire single resource. The course covers elements of S-131 (FFT1), S-290 (Intermediate Fire Behavior), and L-280 (followership to leadership). Aspects of how wildland fire medicine differs from 911 medicine are covered throughout the course. Successful completion of this course prepares the student to effectively operate as a single resource on a wildland fire incident.
Rapid Extraction Module Support (Wildland Fire Rope Rescue). Not only will you be instructed and become proficient in technical rope rescue, but you will also be given the knowledge of what it means to be a REMS module. You will be given real wildland fire medical extraction scenarios and taught how to work through them, with your knowledge, gear, and available resources.
