NWCG S-211 portable pumps. Learn the basics of portable pump operations and troubleshooting. Add in the knowledge to most effectively use portable pumps. Class includes real world portable pump scenarios, problems, and solutions.
Black Pine offers the Fire Camp and large incident experience for those looking to have their employees with a leg up when deploying for the first time. Camps can be 5,7, or 14 days in length. Attendees get the "fire camp" experience.
This course will soon be known as S-259. You will learn how to operate as a fireline medic. The course covers S-131 (FFT1), S-290 (Intermediate Fire Behavior), L-280 (followership to leadership), wildland fire medicine. Successful completion of this course prepares the student to effectively operate as a single resource on a wildland fire incident.
Rapid Extraction Modules (Wildland Fire Rope Rescue). Not only will you be instructed, and become proficient, in technical rope rescue, you will be given the knowledge of what it really means to be a REMS module. You will be given real wildland fire medical extraction scenarios and taught how to work through them; with your knowledge, gear, and available resources.
